A Pro-Student Budget — We promote funding increases for public education across the board.
A Strong Start for Florida Children — Create fully-funded, high-quality pre-kindergarten available for ALL.
Public Money for Public Schools—Fully fund public schools, and say no to any voucher schemes. Voucher schools that receive money from the public trust should employ accountability/transparency similar to public schools.
Democracy and Transparency—Reign in out-of-control charter schools. Schools should answer to Floridians, through democratically-elected school boards, and employ respectable accountability and transparency measures.
Reform Standardized Testing - We promote testing that produces informative and equitable results, is free of harsh consequences, and meets the needs of all Florida students.
